Peter Aletor

Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer

Peter Aletor is a professional accountant and a pioneer staff of Capital Express Securities Limited where he became the company’s Managing Director.

He established Apel Asset Limited in 2008 and has continued to carry out big-ticket transactions for individual and corporate clients. He is an Authorized Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Exchange Group and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.

He has about 30 years of experience as a Chartered Stockbroker on the floor of The Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX).

He is the Group Managing Director of Apel, overseeing the entire organization.

He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School (LBS) and has attended the Reimagining Strategy Course at Harvard Business School.

LOLA IYINOLAKAN

Managing Director, Apel Capital & Trust

She has over 18 years of work experience across Legal Practice and the Financial Services sector.

She began her career in the financial services sector at Zenith Bank Plc in 2008 after a short stint in a Law Firm. She was thereafter seconded to Zenith Trustees and later moved to Coronation Trustees Limited where she was the Managing Director until July 2020.

She holds a Bachelor of Law degree, LL.B. (Hons) from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, and a Masters of Law degree, LL.M from the University of Lagos. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, London.

Omolola is currently the Managing Director of Apel Capital & Trust Limited and she is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the growth of the Firm.

TEMITOPE ADEOSUN

Managing Director, Apel Asset Limited

Temitope has distinguished investment banking experience spanning advisory, portfolio management, proprietary trading, market making, and relationship management. She possesses over twenty-three years of professional experience.

Currently, Temitope serves as the Managing Director of Apel Asset Limited. She currently oversees the company’s daily business operations, directing all the resources to achieve strategic growth plans.

Prior to joining Capital Bancorp, Temitope was the MD/CEO of Bancorp Securities Limited, a subsidiary of Capital Bancorp PLC, and MD/CEO of FBNQuest Securities Limited, the securities trading arm/subsidiary of FBNQuest Merchant Bank. She was responsible for managing the Company’s diverse business activities and leading the team.

Temitope is a Council member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and served as a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) as an Audit Committee member between 2016 - 2018. She holds an MBA in Financial Management, BSc in Finance, and HND in Business Administration.

VICTOR OMIYEDUN

Chief Financial Officer, Apel Group

He has over 20 years experience in audit, Oil & Gas, and Stockbroking. He is a Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Associate, Certified Pensions Institute of Nigeria and member, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria. Before joining Apel, He has worked with BFCL Assets & Securities Limited, and Dependable Securities Limited

ADETORO OJELABI

Head, legal & company secretary

Adetoro has over 15 years of experience across Banking, Litigation, Company Secretaryship, Legal Drafting, Compliance, Human Resources, and Administration. She is an astute lawyer with a Bachelor of Laws degree, LL.B. from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, and a Master of Laws degree LL.M. from the University of London, United Kingdom. She is also a member of the Chartere d Institute of Secretaries & Administrators, the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, and the Compliance Institute, Nigeria. She began her career at Oceanic Bank International Plc and thereafter moved to Ecobank Nigeria Limited. She is the Company Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer of Apel.

ADETOKUNBO CLEMENT

Clement (ACA, CFE) is a seasoned professional with an impressive 29-year track record in the merchandising, manufacturing and financial sectors. as a Chartered Accountant. He has consistently demonstrated financial acumen, ensuring the fiscal health and prosperity of organizations through a deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance and taxation, Simultaneously, as a Certified Fraud Examiner, he has been instrumental in safeguarding companies against fraudulent activities, employing meticulous investigation skills to detect and prevent financial malfeasance. Clement's leadership abilities, strategic mindset and dedication to ethical conduct have made him a respected figure in the industry, driving growth and promoting financial integrity.

OLUSEGUN ATERE

Head, Corporate Finance

He has over 18 years experience in Finance, Advisory, Asset Management, Stockbroking and Research. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and a Licensed International Financial Analyst with a B.Sc. In Mathematics Previously worked with Capital Express Securities Limited and MBC Financial Services Group.

ALHAJI SULEIMAN BARAU

Chairman

He is a distinguished Public Servant, a Merchant, Commercial and Central Banker. His over 18 years sojourn as a Public Servant was initially as a Principal Economist with the Nigerian Mining Corporation and subsequently with the Central Bank of Nigeria, as a Special Adviser to the Governor during which time he briefly acted as Managing Director of the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Plc, and then as a two term Deputy Governor before he retired in December 2017. He attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, University of Jos and University of Bradford where he acquired Bsc, MSc, post experience and graduate certificates in Economics, Investment Analysis and Management Research respectively. He attended over 3 dozen courses in major institutions such as Euromoney, Insead, IMD, Wharton, Harvard, Kellogg and Stanford Universities. He sits on the board of several reputable companies. CHIOMA SIDESO

Director

She is a senior corporate and financial services executive with more than 23 years’ experience of strategic leadership across the oil and gas, banking, and insurance sectors. She has led several international companies as CEO and is also an accomplished Non-Executive Director, with a strong track record of delivering change. She was instrumental in signing Nigeria’s first ever bancassurance deal and introduced ground-breaking market segmentation techniques which contributed to a huge increase in the corporate client base. Previously, she was an Executive Director for the same firm from 2004 to 2006, having originally started her career in London in 1999. She has over time continued to support young people and women across Africa, particularly in their journeys towards financial independence. She enjoys sharing her technical and commercial knowledge to raise performance and capabilities. Chioma Sideso brings thought leadership and energy to top management. She is dedicated to making a positive impact, reducing risk, strengthening efficiencies, and facilitating multiple income streams.

ADEWALE TOPE FOLOWOSELE

Director

He has over 20 years experience covering banking, accounting, and tax. He is a seasoned tax consultant Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) Lead consultant with ATF Consulting Limited.

SULAIMAN KOGUNA

Director

He has over a decade experience covering Insurance, Finance and Management. B.Sc. Economics from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus and his Post graduate Diploma in Finance and Management from Loughborough University, Leicestershire, UK. His work experience includes Niger Insurance Plc, and he is also an Executive Director at Koguna Babura Insurance Brokers Limited. He is the founder of e-Insurance Solution center. He joined the board of APEL Asset Ltd in 2018.

DR. ADESOLA OSHIN

Director

She is a dental surgeon with vast experience in Safety, Health Management and Development. She has Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Master of Science (M.Sc.), International Health Management and Development, University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. Member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), Nigerian Dental Association and the Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals (NISP).

She is a quintessential Public Relations professional, astute Administrator and a Public Speaker with over 30 years combined experience. She is a recipient for professionalism in PR practice and won the Maritime Mediamulti-award Woman for the Year 2011 and 2012. She was also voted the best Maritime Industry Public Relations Officer. She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration Nigeria (CIOTA), She also holds membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) Nigeria.
